Tim Mead, AIA, has extensive experience in access compliance projects since 1990. He coordinated the access compliance programs at three colleges. He oversaw facility surveys and preparation of transition plans. He managed funding and bidding of access compliance projects. He supervised construction of projects, including replacement or modification of hardware, fixtures, entrance doors, seating, ramps, parking, and signage. He is familiar with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Architectural Barriers Act, Fair Housing Act and state and local codes.
		There are many unique conditions and solutions can vary. Tim Mead, AIA, understands these requirements are civil rights; when an individual makes a complaint about a physical barrier, the outcome depends on a satisfactory response. Tim Mead will work with the property manager and those affected by physical barriers to develop a satisfactory architectural solution.
